Use at your own risk but like I said, I have used it twice and it works just like keying it in on a computer. If you have already done the change and all your friends keep wanting you to hack their cars this is a lot easier than going in through a computer. I still have the ability to use a computer for that. The script could also be altered to copy a new background file in to replace the black background that is there. I also removed a script to turn on Wi-Fi on the car for safety. You can read through the "tweaks.sh" file to verify what is going on so you can see there is nothing wrong being applied. I got the script from a Mazda 3 web site and thought it would be a lot handier than using a computer all the time to do the same thing and you don't have to buy a USB to ethernet adapter to apply it. Once it comes back on your speed restriction is gone and you can use your touch screen anytime. Reboot your system after the tweak by holding down the Nav, Mute and Return for about 10 seconds and the screen will restart. I have done the process on my own car and a friend's car and it works just like it is supposed to. The program does the same thing as hacking into the car with a computer but is running from a script instead. Put the thumb drive into the car, turn it on, let it come up then you will see the tweak running to turn off the speed control then it will say something about data collection (everything is set to no in the file) and it is finished. If you want to remove the speed control from the infotainment screen and change the disclaimer from 35 seconds down to 1 second just format a USB thumb drive for 32 bit FAT and extract the file below to the thumb drive.
